Mansfield Crematorium

Mansfield Crematorium has 2 chapels: Newstead chapel seats 60 people and Thoresby chapel seats 150. All funeral or memorial services can be adapted in both chapels to suit the religious beliefs or requirements of the person who’s passed away and their family. There are traditional organs available in each chapel but if you’d prefer to play other music there’s a media system available too. Video tributes can be played as part of the service and there are stands available for photo images. Please note that if you wish to view the committal of the coffin you must let the crematorium know as soon as possible.  

The crematorium offers a variety of options for ashes including burial in one of their cemeteries, placement in a columbarium, and the scattering of ashes in the woodland grounds on site. A number of different types of memorials can be chosen too. These include bronze kerb plaques, vase block memorials, and memorial trees.
