West Road Crematorium is owned and operated by Newcastle City Council. The crematorium has two chapels joined together by an arcaded cloister. This is also known as the “Loggia”. The West Chapel seats 180 and the East Chapel seats 165. Both chapels are built in a traditional manner but have been made accessible. They offer an organ, CD player and induction loop.
