Wealden Crematorium is set in 30 acres of landscaped grounds, wildflower meadows and pasture. The crematorium opened in 2019 and is owned by Wealden District Council. Non-religious and religious funerals of any faith can be held at Wealden Crematorium.
The ceremony hall has space for up to 120 people seated, plus extra standing space. There are outdoor screens and speakers for large funerals. It’s also a dog-friendly venue, allowing owners to bring their dogs to the funeral service. Tributes and memorials can be placed in the crematorium grounds – these include wall plaques, memorial trees with plaques and sanctum vaults for ashes.
