Thames View Crematorium, also known as Gravesend crematorium, opened in 2017 and is privately owned by the London Cremation Company. The crematorium is set in a 27-acre memorial park with a formal cemetery, woodland burial area and extensive wildlife areas. It has 2 chapels, the larger chapel seating 150 people and the smaller chapel seating 30 people. Both chapels have facilities for disabled visitors, including hearing loops, level access and books in large print and braille.
After the cremation, ashes can be scattered in the memorial park, which also has burial plots and above-ground sanctum vaults. The crematorium has a range of memorial options available, including rose bushes and entry into their book of remembrance.
