South Shields Crematorium, also known as South Tyneside crematorium, is owned by South Tyneside Council. It has extensive grounds with a variety of trees and shrubs creating a peaceful setting. The crematorium has a chapel which can be used for services for any faith. The chapel seats 200 people with room for 30 standing.
