Shay Grange Crematorium in Heaton opened in October 2023 and is run by Bradford Council. It has two multi-faith chapels: the large chapel has 150 seats plus room 150 standing, while the small chapel seats around 20 people. Both chapels are well equipped with systems for service music, webcasting and visual tributes. The crematorium also features a side room where families can watch the coffin being taken into the cremation chamber.
Shay Grange Crematorium is set within landscaped gardens of remembrance. These are still in development and include a wildflower meadow and areas for scattering ashes. Memorial rights are available from Bradford Council. The crematorium has parking for 123 cars, with spaces for coaches and electric car charging points.
