Putney Vale Crematorium, also known as Putney crematorium, was opened in 1938 and is in the grounds of Putney Vale Cemetery. It has 2 chapels for cremation services: the traditional, ornate West Chapel and the modern East Chapel. Both chapels seat 80 people and have webcasting and recording facilities.
The crematorium’s gardens of remembrance offer a peaceful place to scatter ashes, with both formal and woodland areas. Burial plots and vaults for ashes are also available and there’s a selection of memorial options, including plaques and a book of remembrance.
Putney Vale Crematorium has plenty of parking, including designated disabled spaces. The car park is next to the crematorium building.
