Owned by Wandsworth Council, Putney Vale Crematorium was established in 1938 and is within the grounds of Putney Vale Cemetery. It has 2 chapels for cremation services: the traditional, ornate West Chapel and the modern East Chapel. Both chapels seat 80 people and have webcasting and recording facilities.
The crematorium’s gardens of remembrance offer a peaceful place to scatter ashes, with both formal and woodland areas. Burial plots and vaults for ashes are also available. There’s also a selection of memorial options, including plaques and a book of remembrance.
