Pleasington Crematorium was opened in 1943 and is owned by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. There’s a multi-faith chapel with 14 pews, gardens of remembrance and a book of remembrance. There’s plenty of parking available onsite including disabled parking bays.
The gardens of remembrance include a butterfly pond, a memorial wall and an ash plot. You can choose to have a memorial installed here if you want to celebrate the life of a loved one.
