Mortlake Crematorium - Kew Meadows

Lord Horder, physician to the king at the time, opened Mortlake Crematorium in 1939. It was listed as a Grade II building in 2011. The chapel can seat 94 people downstairs and 36 people in the gallery. There is more standing room in the entrance hall. You can collect the ashes or scatter them in the garden of remembrance.
