Herne Bay Crematorium opened in November 2023 and takes pride in its’ modern facilities, including features to reduce its environmental impact. The crematorium has a light, airy chapel that seats 101 people with room for more in the lobby. The chapel’s modern media system can be used for playing music and displaying visual tributes, as well as webcasting funeral services.
The crematorium grounds are surrounded by woodland and include a garden of remembrance and areas for scattering ashes. There’s parking for 116 cars, plus 4 disabled spaces. Electric vehicle charging is also available.
