Gwent Crematorium, also known as Cwmbran crematorium, is managed by Newport City Council and serves the local authorities of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. It has a chapel seating around 120 people with room for another 50 standing. The chapel has level access and a loop system, plus facilities for webcasting and recording services. It can also be adapted for services of different faiths.
Gwent Crematorium has a landscaped garden of remembrance with burial plots and above-ground sanctums for ashes, arranged by faith. Ashes can also be strewn in the garden by crematorium staff. A range of memorials are available, including a record in the book of remembrance and memorial cards.
