Darlington Crematorium is owned and run by Darlington Borough
Council and is available for non-religious and religious funeral ceremonies of any faith. These can be held in the crematorium chapel, which is divided into the main chapel and the annex. The main chapel has seating for up to 58 people. The chapel annex has standing space for another 40 people.
The garden of remembrance is available for scattering ashes. Wall plaques and planter plaques can be chosen as memorials and there is also a book of remembrance. Burial of ashes isn’t available on this site but can be arranged at one of Darlington’s cemeteries. Your funeral director will be able to help you make the arrangements.
