Family owned and operated by Sam and Helen Taylor, Taylor’s Independent Family Funeral Directors provides comfort to families and a place to plan the most important occasion to honour a loved one.
A long time in the business but a new name in Knowle, Dorridge and the Solihull area as an independent funeral director, Sam Taylor has extensive experience working in the funeral industry throughout Birmingham and Solihull. During his time directing funerals and providing funeral services, Sam recognised the need for a family run, independent funeral service to serve his local community.
So Taylor’s was born.
Sam is a partner in the business with his wife, Helen, who will be assisting with the running of the business and helping clients through the funeral process.
The Dorridge office of Taylor’s opened for business in August 2017 after great interest from the local community and recognising the need for a family run independent funeral director service for the local community.
We recognise that arranging a funeral is an emotional experience and Sam or his wife Helen will always be available to speak with you personally, either in our Dorridge office or in the comfort of your own home. We will listen and guide you, ensuring we meet your needs in every way possible.

- Unattended cremation This is a cremation without a funeral service. This means mourners can't attend. The price shown includes the funeral director's fees and the crematorium fees.
